Hello! I’m Melissa Batchler, owner of Skin + Beauty By Melissa.
As long as I can remember, I’ve had a passion for art and making things beautiful.
So when the opportunity came to join the Capital Region Boces cosmetology program in high school, my journey into the beauty industry was set in motion!
Through the program, I was able to obtain my New York State Cosmetology license in 2012.
I then went on to obtain my New York State Esthetician license in 2015 through the Aesthetics Science Institute.
In the time since, I’ve spent many hours working hands on with clients, learning everything about waxing, creating the perfect brow, and the secrets to achieving beautiful skin!
After that, in an effort to expand my expertise, I started learning all things eyelashes! Officially becoming a lash artist and providing services such as lash extensions and lash lifts & tints!
As I continued to grow my business, I discovered one of my true passions, Microblading!
I love the creative outlet it’s become for me, and being able to share with others the beauty that comes with symmetrical eyebrows.
I enjoy every service I perform and my goal is to help others feel confident, emotionally and physically!
